My Long List of Amplifiers and My Personal Review of Each!

So I have been in a long journey looking to find the best amplifiers for my martin logan montis. As you know, the match between an amplifier and speakers has to be a good "marriage" and needs to be blend exquisitely. Right now, I think I might have found the best sounding amplifier for martin logan. I have gone through approximately 34-36 amplifiers in the past 12 months. Some of these are:

Bryston ST, SST, SST2 series
NAD M25
PARASOUND HALO
PARASOUND CLASSIC
KRELL TAS
KRELL KAV 500
KRELL CHORUS
ROTEL RMB 1095
CLASSE CT 5300
CLASSE CA 2200
CLASSE CA 5200
MCINTOSH MC 205
CARY AUDIO CINEMA 7
OUTLAW AUDIO 755
LEXICON RX7
PASS LABS XA 30.8
BUTLER AUDIO 5150
ATI SIGNATURE SERIES 6005

With all that said, the amplifiers I mentioned above are the ones that in my opinion are worth mentioning. To make a long story short, there is NO 5 CHANNEL POWER AMP that sounds as good as a 3ch and 2ch amplifier combination. i have done both experiments and the truth is that YOU DO lose details and more channel separation, etc when you select a 5 channel power amplifier of any manufacturer.
My recollection of what each amp sounded like is as follows:

ATI SIGNATURE SERIES 6005 (great power and amazing soundstage. Very low noise floor, BUT this amplifiers NEEDS TO BE cranked up in order to fully enjoy it. If you like listening at low volume levels or somewhat moderate, you are wasting your time here. This amp won’t sound any different than many other brands out there at this volume. The bass is great, good highs although they are a bit bright for my taste)

NAD M25 (very smooth, powerful, but somewhat thin sounding as far as bass goes)
Bryston sst2(detailed, good soundstage, good power, but can be a little forward with certain speakers which could make them ear fatiguing at loud volumes)

Krell (fast sounding, nice bass attack, nice highs, but some detail does get lost with certain speakers)

rotel (good amp for the money, but too bright in my opinion)

cary audio (good sound overall, very musical, but it didn’t have enough oomph)

parasound halo (good detail, great bass, but it still holds back some background detail that i can hear in others)

lexicon (very laid back and smooth. huge power, but if you like more detail or crisper highs, this amp will disappoint you)

McIntosh mc205 (probably the worst multichannel amp given its price point. it was too thin sounding, had detail but lacked bass.

butler audio (good amplifier. very warm and smooth sweet sounding. i think for the money, this is a better amp than the parasound a51)

pass labs (very VERY musical with excellent bass control. You can listen to this for hours and hours without getting ear fatigue. however, it DOES NOT do well in home theater applications if all you have is a 2 channel set up for movies. The midrange gets somewhat "muddy" or very weak sounding that you find yourself trying to turn it up.

classe audio (best amplifier for multi channel applications. i simply COULDNT FIND a better multi channel amplifier PERIOD. IT has amazing smoothness, amazing power and good bass control although i would say krell has much better bass control)

Update: The reviews above were done in January 2015. Below is my newest update as of October 2016:

PS AUDIO BHK 300 MONOBLOCKS: Amazing amps. Tons of detail and really amazing midrange. the bass is amazing too, but the one thing i will say is that those of you with speakers efficiency of 87db and below you will not have all the "loudness" that you may want from time to time. These amps go into protection mode when using a speaker such as the Salon, but only at very loud levels. Maybe 97db and above. If you don’t listen to extreme crazy levels, these amps will please you in every way.

Plinius Odeon 7 channel amp: This is THE BEST multichannel amp i have ever owned. Far , but FAR SUPERIOR to any other multichannel amp i have owned. In my opinion it destroyed all of the multichannel amps i mentioned above and below. The Odeon is an amp that is in a different tier group and it is in a league of its own. Amazing bass, treble and it made my center channel sound more articulate than ever before. The voices where never scrambled with the action scenes. It just separated everything very nicely.

Theta Dreadnaught D: Good detailed amp. Looks very elegant, has a pleasant sound, but i found it a tad too bright for my taste. I thought it was also somewhat "thin" sounding lacking body to the music. could be that it is because it is class d?

Krell Duo 300: Good amp. Nice and detailed with enough power to handle most speakers out there. I found that it does have a very nice "3d" sound through my electrostatics. Nothing to fault here on this amp.
Mark Levinson 532H: Great 2 channel amp. Lots of detail, amazing midrange which is what Mark Levinson is known for. It sounds very holographic and will please those of you looking for more detail and a better midrange. As far as bass, it is there, but it is not going to give you the slam of a pass labs 350.5 or JC1s for example. It is great for those that appreciate classical music, instrumental, etc, but not those of you who love tons of deep bass.

 It is articulate sounding too
Krell 7200: Plenty of detail and enough power for most people. i found that my rear speakers contained more information after installed this amp. One thing that i hated is that you must use xlr cables with this amp or else you lose most of its sound performance when using RCA’s.

Krell 402e: Great amp. Very powerful and will handle any speaker you wish. Power is incredible and with great detail. That said, i didn’t get all the bass that most reviewers mentioned. I thought it was "ok" in regards to bass. It was there, but it didn’t slam me to my listening chair.

Bryston 4B3: Good amp with a complete sound. I think this amp is more laid back than the SST2 version. I think those of you who found the SST2 version of this amp a little too forward with your speakers will definitely benefit from this amp’s warmth. Bryston has gone towards the "warm" side in my opinion with their new SST3 series. As always, they are built like tanks. I wouldn’t call this amp tube-like, but rather closer to what the classe audio delta 2 series sound like which is on the warm side of things.

Parasound JC1s: Good powerful amps. Amazing low end punch (far superior bass than the 402e). This amp is the amp that i consider complete from top to bottom in regards to sound. Nothing is lacking other than perhaps a nicer chassis. Parasound needs to rework their external appearance when they introduce new amps. This amp would sell much more if it had a revised external appearance because the sound is a great bang for the money. It made my 800 Nautilus scream and slam. Again, amazing low end punch.

Simaudio W7: Good detailed amp. This amp reminds me a lot of the Mark Levinson 532h. Great detail and very articulate. I think this amp will go well with bookshelves that are ported in order to compensate for what it lacks when it comes to the bass. That doesn’t mean it has no bass, but when it is no Parasound JC1 either.
Pass labs 350.5: Wow, where do i begin? maybe my first time around with the xa30.8 wasn’t as special as it was with this monster 350.5. It is just SPECTACULAR sounding with my electrostatics. The bass was THE BEST BASS i have ever heard from ANY amp period. The only amp that comes close would be the jC1s. It made me check my settings to make sure the bass was not boosted and kept making my jaw drop each time i heard it. It totally destroyed the krell 402e in every regard. The krell sounded too "flat" when compared to this amp. This amp had amazing mirange with great detail up top. In my opinion, this amp is the best bang for the money. i loved this amp so much that i ended up buying the amp that follows below.

Pass labs 250.8: What can i say here. This is THE BEST STEREO AMP i have ever heard. This amp destroys all the amps i have listed above today to include the pass labs 350.5. It is a refined 350.5 amp. It has more 3d sound which is something the 350.5 lacked. It has a level of detail that i really have never experienced before and the bass was amazing as well. I really thought it was the most complete power amplifier i have ever heard HANDS DOWN. To me, this is a benchmark of an amplifier. This is the amp that others should be judged by. NOTHING is lacking and right now it is the #1 amplifier that i have ever owned.

My current amps are Mcintosh MC601s: i decided to give these 601s a try and they don’t disappoint. They have great detail, HUGE soundstage, MASSIVE power and great midrange/highs. The bass is great, but it is no pass labs 250.8 or 350.5. As far as looks, these are the best looking amps i have ever owned. No contest there. i gotta be honest with you all, i never bought mcintosh monos before because i wasn’t really "wowed" by the mc452, but it could have been also because at that time i was using a processor as a preamp which i no longer do. Today, i own the Mcintosh C1100 2 chassis tube preamp which sounds unbelievable. All the amps i just described above have been amps that i auditioned with the C1100 as a preamp. The MC601s sound great without a doubt, but i will say that if you are looking for THE BEST sound for the money, these would not be it. However, Mcintosh remains UNMATCHED when it comes to looks and also resale value. Every other amp above depreciates much faster than Mcintosh.

That said, my future purchase (when i can find a steal of a deal) will be the Pass labs 350.8. I am tempted to make a preliminary statement which is that i feel this amp could be THE BEST stereo amp under 30k dollars. Again, i will be able to say more and confirm once i own it. I hope this update can help you all in your buying decisions!

You all ready for the comparison of boulder and gryphon?

I can't stress it enough how important it is to at least use headphones. I was driving to the gym just now and played the comparison in my car and i preferred one set up and then I get out the car, put any headphones on and now i prefer the other set up.
I am telling you all, it is crucial that you listen to this with good headphones. I also keep reminding you all to listen to the video at least 3 times. Don't be shocked if you change your mind on what you prefer each time you listen to it.
The video will go live shortly and i hope you all enjoy it !
Hahah. Now the whole world is like "wdf happened ? We loved the first boulder video but now Mephisto sounds awesome and possibly better!"

Audioquest dragon powercords were used on Gryphon amplifier. Gryphon pandora was on stock Powercords.
Boulder components were all on stock Powercords
You sound like an antagonist today on this beautiful Christmas Eve. You ok?
Everyone is having a great, adult, polite discussion without any sort of argument.
I did the shoot out using matching components BECAUSE this is what makes sense since I have both linestages. We are trying to get a spoonful of the gryphon and boulder sound. I’m not sure why that is so hard to comprehend?
The only discrepancy we were trying to figure out today was whether I should have used stock powercords or not with the Gryphon and nothing else. I think everyone here agreed with me that I used the correct linestages for this evaluation?
Lastly, if you " really don't care " as to which set up wins because you would never own these components, then why even bother criticizing? Isn't that a bit contradicting?
I’ve tried boulder 2110 and Mephisto and it was good but maximum synergy happens with pandora and Mephisto.

There is also one thing that people have failed to mention here:
WHICH CABLES IS JAY USING HERE???
Could you be listening to the cables through the boulder?  Could it be that maybe the mephisto prefers the cables being used and the boulder is simply letting letting you hear the cables?
That is something that nobody has mentioned :)

Viber,
If you are raving about Steve’s speaker the way you are, why would you use a lousy 100 dollar rane eq on them? No offense but is your hearing so damaged due to playing violins? I would love to see the settings on the rane eq that you use. Can Steve post a pic of the rane settings you are using? I am curious to know if you are boosting the hell out of the high frequencies which is why you use a rane eq.

Who pollutes a speaker that is said to be as clear as water by using a rane eq?
Also, when are you cutting the check for the gt audio speakers? I mean, with all the leg work Steve is doing to accommodate your entire set up i would image you are definitely going to buy their speakers... It would be the only way that your comments would hold any weight here...
If i heard those speakers in my room and was blown away the way you are and there was no doubt that i am head over heels with them, I’d be telling Steve that the check is in the mail as is the case with many reviewers.
When something leaves an impression on me that I can’t get it out of my head, i move whatever it takes in order to make it mine.
I really hope you do give Steve the business he deserves from you.
If you feel that deep down they are not the speaker for you then I’d stop talking about them if i were you. It makes it worse the more you praise them and they are still not in your possession.
I really hope he's not wasting his time with you.

This leads me to share with you one of my future videos. It will be about WHAT DOES A DEALER need to do in order to earn your business? ( I will itemize these things) and i will also  call out the bs that many "Audiophiles" pull with dealers. Many dealers asked me to speak up and i agreed with them as long as I can also call them out on their practices and they said "fair enough".
I suspect this video will be one big controversial video since this topic never really comes up on YouTube.
Ok viber...
I’m not going to start anything but you should tell the general public here what you do with rane and how you pretty much use lamp cords for speaker cables and you boost the hell out of your rane eq on the high frequencies. I can’t go into more detail than that but it would be good that you tell everyone how you really listen to music: full blast on high frequencies and no folks I’m not exaggerating. That said, this doesn’t matter to me because it is your gear. What matters to me is that you come here to praise gt audio speakers, once, twice, three times, four times and on and on and you STILL are rocking some old speakers because you claim they are better at something than the gt audio speakers that you just listened to, have listened to and will listen to in a week or so?
You might as well tell Steve you aren’t buying anything but you will give him discounts on his future medical needs for his efforts to accommodate you constantly.

If you aren’t buying the GT audio speakers, there is no praising you can do here, on my journey,  that will make people believe you. It isn’t the money ( you’re a doctor so you can afford them) so it is clearly that they don’t do it for you and you are just trying to do something nice here for Steve by dropping good feedback about their speakers.
Be upfront with them before you go see them next week. Don't waste their time. Tell them straight up YOU ARE NOT BUYING ANYTHING. Don't mislead them.
I’ll leave it at that.
Stay tuned for that video. I'll lay it all out when it comes to dealers and buyers. Here's a quick example:
What does a dealer need to do to earn your business:

1. Ask you questions about your current set up and not focus solely on the component you're calling about

Then I'll turn the tables and call out the bs that buyers do:
1. Calling every dealer and then leveraging dealers against each other which later leads to dealers getting scolded by manufacturers for discounting or shipping across their territories
2. Using the stupid ass " let me talk to the wife" excuse which is the oldest trick in the book. Dealers have heard all the excuses and this one is one of the top excuses.

Trust me I'll call out dealer bs and buyer bs. This is something that I have never seen done on social media but i am here to call it like it is.
I did give Steve the green light to post the video of his system playing the same music i recorded recently so that perhaps a comparison can be drawn.
That said, the issue isn’t that, but rather the constant "ranchera" that viber plays here in regards to the GT AUDIO speakers which he now claims don’t do something that his vintage speakers do and which is sufficient enough for him to not buy the GT Audio speakers.
I don’t believe there has ever been a single person here who has promoted a product so intensely (as viber has done) but yet they don’t own it ( while having the means to do so).
Even tekton owners (greyhound) who actually owns a tekton speaker doesn’t come here praising it. He likes the speakers and most IMPORTANTLY owns them which speaks volumes about his beliefs.

Another example is Kren who I don’t believe owns a wilson speaker but he likes it a lot yet you don’t see him pushing wilson. I’m sure if he could buy his dream wilson , he probably would have it right now ( if he doesn’t already).

My point is if someone loves a product for x and y reason, they WOULD OWN IT if money isn't a problem.

All-
A couple of things:
My comments above in regards to dealers and buyers are just a hint of a future YouTube video I’ll be uploading. This came from conversations I’ve had with several dealers who are sick and tired of the bs. I only agreed to do it if they can also take criticism about their practices at times and they agreed. I can’t go on " assault" (as some might call it) if it is not done on both ends.
Many dealers can’t talk or get things off their chest because they are afraid that it will impact their business but they want to be heard nonetheless.
Putting it all out there will make some realize (including me) how not cool it is to do we are doing or what we used to do in the past.
Wasting dealer’s time as well as not caring about customer’s needs are a real thing. All I’m going to do is articulate these so that the whole world can hear both camps pain points.

Moving away from the topic above,
Boulder vs Gryphon:
I had mentioned on the video that this will be a 2 part video where the only difference is the cabling used. You all heard part one with one cable set up and today you will hear the second video with the same songs but a different cable set up. This will accomplish 2 things:

1. Make some people believers that cables DO MAKE A DIFFERENCE
2. Evaluate the presentation with different cables to see if perhaps your opinion has changed as to which set up you prefer

Part 2 of Boulder vs Gryphon releases today at 12pm. Let me hear your feedback and as always please use headphones whenever possible.

@golfnutz
BINGO... You are the first person that has nailed one comment that aligns with mine: the resolution of the boulder is one of the best i have ever heard.
Here is the final evaluation of the Boulder vs Gryphon:

https://youtu.be/_WSqnmftp18

Who do you have as your favorite after 2 videos ?

Ps: Alexx are finally set up. We spent 4 hours setting them up and measured as much as possible. We went back to the rear port approach instead of the front and well it sounds gracious and incredible.
Comments in the room where:

" This is the best I have ever heard an Alexx sound and i have set up multiple pairs of Alexx in the past"

" The clarity and organic feeling is spooky"

" We need to become a Boulder dealer"

Of course I got trigger happy and blasted the song " death row" and as soon as the bass hit, the left speaker made a crackling noise and shut off briefly and the light on the left boulder flashed  red briefly and then back to white which according to the manual, it means the boulder ran out of available current which makes sense because I also have the niagara 5000 connected on the left outlet.
30a outlets will need to be done very soon.
Don't you all worry, i shot my videos with tekton yesterday...82db and full Gryphon. NO BOULDER with Tekton because boulder monos are on top of the center stage 1.5 footers and they take 3 weeks to settle. The boulders are not sounding good at all right now which is what is supposed to happen with the footers in the first 7-10 days before they begin to settle.
Also, since you all are claiming that tektons are highly efficient then Gryphon should be more than plenty for the speaker. I shot like 6-8 songs yesterday which I will share with you all towards the end of the year. The tektons were spiked and positioned based on what Tekton themselves told me to do.

I will be filming my impressions soon. That said, i am going to create a poll on youtube and i want you all to vote so you can see what the overall feeling was between both set ups.
I am sure you all want to know the general feeling from both demos. I will leave the poll live for 2 days.

82db is actually not as loud as you’d think because it sounds so effortless and relaxed, but you are correct when you take the 82db figure at face value, it can be loud.
Better said, yes it is loud but it doesn't feel loud. It's like a car that doesn't feel like you're going 100mph but you are ...
@golfnutz:

I actually did have 30a outlets installed a while ago and i had them taken down to 20a instead so now I need to undo what i did. Ugh 😩

When it comes to the Niagara 5000:
I am using an audioquest dragon hc Powercord on it.
When it comes to shunyata, well I gave my opinion on it on my last live chat. I will answer questions live in the future instead of having to repeat myself. I gave my opinion on shunyata on camera so maybe someone who was part of the chat can articulate what i have already explained.
I will try to give everyone a heads up next time I go live so that hopefully you all have time to make it. That was my fault.

I have created a poll on my YouTube. You should be able to see it if you go to my channel. Choose which presentation you preferred and check out the results for yourself!

The poll will be an additional measurement to gauge what was the general feeling of the presentations. That's about it.
Tektons won't be touching my boulders. Why would they? Most have gryphon as the better combo so why break my back moving the monos off the stand so i can remove the footers which are making the amps sound harsh and congested?
Regardless of which set up i use, you will hear the tektons with electronics that most tekton owners don't have.

I finished shooting my video today with regards to my impressions of the 2 evaluations. You will finally know what MY intention was with the shootout. You'll have to watch the entire 40 min video to understand my points and what i was ultimately trying to teach some of you.

Be on the lookout tomorrow at noon.
Poll votes: 69
People have selected:

46% Gryphon from video 1
23% Boulder from video 2

Hopefully @daveyf will hide for a few days and not post. That’s typical behavior of trolls who come in and out of the thread. They attack and then once those who support what I do validate and appreciate my efforts speak up, the perpetrators walk out of thread because it’s clear they are not wanted here. There are many other sites where they can start their own thread moaning and complaining about others. That's the one thing the other website does a good job at: not allowing confrontations to occur and putting out fires from repeat offenders.

Alright boys,
Tekton Ulfs are 30 min away from hitting the stage. I want feedback and opinions so we can have a good discussion. This will be awesome!
Headphones are a plus !!!
Why can’t people just go with it?
Just listen and enjoy and take your own notes.
If you want a specific speaker here then buy it and send it here. I’ll do the heavy lifting.
Well,
I stand corrected in regards to the issue i had with one boulder clipping when pushed hard. I thought it was lack of power from my outlets and after doing some troubleshooting for the last hour, i found out that the boulder has so much power that it doesn’t like the "box" the synergistic research speaker cables have. It seems to overload whatever is inside this box on the speaker cables. This problem doesn’t happen with Wireworld speaker cables and boulder.
I believe pass labs had told me a very long time ago to stay away from speaker cables with some sort of box in the middle (transparent, MIT, ETC) because they had issues with pass labs xs300s (which is what I owned) burning up or overloading these boxes.
The interesting part is that this doesn't occur with the Gryphon Mephisto but the boulder does have 5 times the power so it isn't exactly the same wattage that is passing through those cables.
Don’t get me wrong, this clipping happens when i really floor the volume and if the song has huge bass too. If you want to try this song in your system, it’s called "death row" by chris stapleton. Play it and crank it up. You’ll hear the huge bass on this track.
Ok guys,
The time has come to finally put the highly talked about Tekton speaker front and center. Tomorrow at 12pm eastern time you will get to hear the Tekton Ulfberht with over $100k worth of electronics behind it. Will it stand up and prove its worthiness?
Tomorrow we will begin to form our opinions on this speaker!
Don't miss it !
I want to listen tonight but my boulder monos sound like sh*t tonight... The critical mass footers are making them sound terrible because they are going through their break in...
It would be nice to do, but remember that the Alexx weigh 452 lbs and my carpet is thick and it is no joke to move them around. As a matter of fact, moving the Alexx around my room has shifted the carpet in my room and now i have like 1/4 inch gaps between the wall and the carpet in some areas. Moving the Alexx drags the carpet slightly and this has never happened with any other speaker i have ever owned. It is certainly the 452 lbs that shift my carpet. Trust me man, when you get a huge speaker like the Alexx, you are almost forced to not move it once you position it because the logistics to move it around almost requires a forklift in the room.
@kren:
I’m not sure I can use a baby integrated like what you mentioned on a speaker like the Alexx. Most folks don’t realize that the Alexx needs power or serious
amplifiers to wake them up. Could we get away with small amps? Sure we can but let’s remember i have you all used to gryphon and boulder with Alexx.
If a small integrated sounds thin and lethargic with my Alexx, this is because we are all comparing it to the big boys i have here. However, these integrated amps would sound killer in a more "normal" system.
Last night I tried a 200 watt stereo amp with Alexx and well.. soundstage got smaller, less depth, etc.
I've heard of some people using tube amps (small tube amps) and i don't know how they do it. My guess is that they wouldn't know any better since they haven't heard the speaker with big amps.
Ricevs:
When are you starting your own thread when it comes to tweaks and DYI?
I think 99% of the folks here don’t care to be taking apart crossovers , wrapping heatsinks in aluminum foil or using birthday cake toppers on top of the amp to prevent vibration let alone lamp cords on boulder or cloth hangers to hang the cables from the roof so they don’t touch the floor.

@mrdecibel:

Thank you for articulating things above. I still don't think he will stop.
Additional context:
On the videos, Alexx are on wheels and time alignment was not 100% complete.
@jetter
Thanks for the above.

@mrdecibel
All good. I don't hold grudges and all the beef from before is forgotten. We are about to enter 2021 and 2020 was a sh!t year for most of us.
Let's move on
Yep...i read that and just left it alone..
The difference between a 12k speaker and a 109k speaker can be negated by inserting a 139 dollar rane eq...
So now you have turned into a mastering guru? interesting.. You are now telling those who work in studios and do this for a living HOW things should sound (you said sometimes they do bad things) and so you believe your way or the highway is really the way to go.
By the way, have you heard a song by Limp Bizkit called "my way" ?
With that Rane comment and how it can be used to make the Tekton sound better than Alexx you have pretty much exposed yourself. I am not sure if you will be able to recover after making such statement.

if i change the transformers in the Parasound, add a couple of footers, change the heatsinks and tweak the internal wiring and fuses, i can make it sound like a Boulder 2150 NO QUESTIONS ASKED...

If we all take supplements, eat healthy, take hormone replacement therapy, lift weights and play baseball 24/7, we can hit home runs like Mark McGwire and Sammy Sosa.

If we use Rane eq on the Alexx then we can make it sound as good or better than the Chronosonic XVX??
I am glad that it has been well accepted. The video has had a lot of views in the short time it's been up which indicates a lot of people are interested in the speaker.
That said, the front end, cabling, room, etc need to be factored in. You can't buy this speaker and expect the same results.
We all know that viber loves brightness which makes sense if using lamp cords for cables.
Live chat tomorrow night @ 7pm eastern time.
I will go over my  best components of 2020 and the best system I put together in 2020 plus which component really disappointed me and WHY !
@mrdecibel
I couldn't agree more with what you said. However, the issue is when you try to impose your way of tweaking on to others.
Wondering why viber doesn't start s thread about rane eq and lamp chords? I mean, wouldn't that really REALLY let him know how much interest there is on his advice? Why not do it so he can test the waters?
Tonight’s live chat will be me giving my opinion on 2020 components that i have personally owned:

Amplifiers
Preamplifiers
Speakers
Powercords
Speaker Cables
Best system for the money that i have put together in 2020

Will we finally see the MSB dac go toe-to-toe against DCS in 2021?

All-
I just wanted to make sure I put it in writing here for the whole public to see.
Some people (HERE, won’t mention names) are quite salty because they claim i am stupid and don’t know what I am doing. They claim my motives are to purposely hate on Tekton so that the whole world hates the speaker and that i purposely select expensive gear so i can sell for profit 😂
Let me let you all in on a little secret, there is not a line of people outside my home to buy my Alexx. There also isn’t a line of people waiting to buy the Mephisto or let alone the boulder. I think it’s such a stupid , ignorant comment because if i were to be into moving gear, I’d be bringing the cheap stuff since it’s much easier to sell and there are more buyers for that kind of gear.
Also, who in their right FREAKING MIND would expect for a Tekton to best an ALEXX? I’m being serious here too. WHO???????
If you are really thinking that this is possible then you gotta share whatever you’re smoking.
Not even the owner of the Tekton speakers that i have here handles himself with so much disgust-CLASS ACT GENTLEMAN who simply wanted me to hear his speakers - (by the way he also owns wilson speakers 🙂) and for me to give him my opinion on them and i decided to share this experience with you all.
Lastly, where in the world have i mentioned my thoughts on the Tekton speakers? ?? I haven’t even given my opinion and yet I have people mad at me ??
Interesting...but that is life.
Why do people get angry over this silly stuff? Are they married to any of this? SO WHAT if another brand smokes your speakers sitting at home. You really thing your speakers or mine are the best there is?
Come on guys...stop the emotional attachment with any of this gear. They ain’t (manufacturers)paying your bills and you aren’t sponsored by them nor do you get a check in the mail. You owe zero loyalty to any of this just like they owe no loyalty to you either. It’s material crap that won’t go into our caskets.
If tomorrow I get a speaker here that I like better than my Alexx, I’d grab my weightlifting belt and deadlight the hell out of those crates and send the Alexx the hell out of here. It doesn’t mean a damn thing to me.
I won’t lose sleep over it either.
