Mcintosh choice - upgrading?

Hi
I’ve narrowed down my search for a Mcintosh power amp that will go through an Ma6200 between mc150/mc7150 or an mc7200.The 6200 will operate as a pre beacuse i want to try a little more power for my vintage jbls.
In fact i really like my 6200 sound and i think that if there is something i wouldl like to add is some more bass tightness/control  and attack.
For mc150 i read limited and different reviews ,some say its a little different from the traditional Mac amps some others praised .Is it so and how does it compares with the mc7150 or even an older 2155?
The 7200 seems indeed a special one as not having autoformers.
So the question is which addition of these amps to the Ma6200 makes more sence in upgrading ?

All these have meters yes, but the questions is more towards sound perfomance here
thanks
Don’t know about other models. I owned MC2250, rated 250 wpc, factory measured 305 wpc. McIntosh are conservatively rated.

For inefficient speakers, My MC2250 was dead quiet, never knew it was on, had to remember to turn it off. Nothing right or wrong about it, just invisibly did it’s job. Factory told me, leave it at max volume, simply on/off, use preamp conservatively.

I went back to efficient speakers, back to tubes, prefer them, sold it eBay, no meters, got less money, and less watchers, that's my reference to meters.
