Martin Logan CLS setup

I recently obtained a pair od Martin Logan CLS IIs and just wonder if you guys could get me some pointers on setting them up for optimum performance. My room is about 22' X 26' with a very high cathedral ceiling about 20 feet at the peak. The front wall where the speakers will be has a fireplace in between the speakers with a window on each side of it. Behind the listening chair is open into the kitchen and rest on the house. Any advice on distance from back and side wall etc room treatment??

I'm not sure that the CLS-1 is more demanding than the CLSII.

Minimum recommended power for the CLSII is 80 watts and the minimum impedance is 1 ohm.
Correction: It wasn't the Sp 9 I had but the arc Sp 6. and had a tough time match it with the Spectral. No way you need hundred of watts....however. I never used a a subwoofer, however.....
I use a Bryston 14BSST/Bechmark DAC-1 Pre with my CLSZ2's and couldn't be more pleased but without a sub I would not own these speakers. IMHO placement requires keeping any solid object including walls at least 3 feet away from the side rails of this speaker and put the sub between and behind the CLS and adjust phase prn.
Thankyou you have all been very helpful and giving a lot to consider. I will get back with you with the results.
