Marantz sa 8005

Does anyone know what the Digital Outputs on the sa 8005 will pass through?  The manual says the CD layer on SACD will but not DSD (as expected).  It is not clear what PCM rates it will pass.  The manual says it won't pass 32kHz but doesn't mention what it will do.  Has anyone tried a DVD (PCM) audio disk, data card or streaming at 24/96 or 24/192 etc.?

Looks like you are limited to 48khz with compressed files and 16/48 for linear PCM files because those are the only formats the device will "play".  It will not play 24/96 or 24/192 data files form CD or USB memory stick.  See page 67-68 of the manual:

Of course, you can always feed 24/96 or 24/192 to this player from a computer.

That's what I was looking for.  I'm still looking for a "player" that will output DVD audio, but maybe I should rethink my needs, a SACD player/CD transport could work out as I will probably end up downloading PCM files anyway.  Thanks.
