Krell KAV 300i Theatre Throughput Mode?

As the owner of an early release KAV 300i, I need some help with switching to the "theatre throughput" mode in which makes the amp capable of functioning as a power amp only, via the "S3" input. Does anyone know how to go about this? Otherwise, perhaps could scan me the part in the manual that mentions the procedure?

I'm not sure if the 300i operates the same way as 400xi that I have, but here's the 400xi manual:

On page 17 there's a description on how to configure
the KAV–400xi for Theater Throughput.
