I connected my Apple iPad to my LG OLED TV using the Apple Lightning Digital AV (HDMI) Adapter and one HDMI cable. It worked perfectly.
I changed the input on my LG TV to HDMI 4 (TV input connection #) and started a movie I wanted to watch on https://tubitv.com on my Apple iPad. I had to hit the start button on the iPad to start the movie and used the volume control on my TiVo Box remote to adjust the volume. There were no issues and the movie played perfectly.
The TV audio output cable is connected (DH Labs Glass Master Toslink Cable) to my Bricasti M3 DAC and the DAC is connected (balanced interconnect XLR cables) to my Ayre AX-7e integrated amplifier.
All movies streamed from https://tubitv.com are free and some ads were displayed during the movie but they were usually very short.
