You were/are correct - I've been filling in for Wally at Underwood - even answering his sales/call line. It's been a crazy 5 days. Wally's surgery went well but he was still not out of the hospital as of this writing.
The Deep Core is now officially ready to re-send the test units. Doug published a VERY NICE Power Point that show's the results of this units capabilities in a very un-ambiguous way :) I can release that Power Point once lak and ozzy receive their units. We had severe shipping damage on with both of these.

The Re-Generator Product (called Power Core) will see it's way to market. The Engineer that lead the way on this (John Petrucelli) passed away several months back. Our New Jersey-based OE Builder has picked up the prototypes and we are going to move forward. In order to meet CE - we will de-rate to 200 watts.
Many of you have spoken to me about Re-Generation vs Balanced and again I say the same thing here --- Balanced in THE FOUNDATIONAL ELEMENT of a good system. Re-Gen are wonderful for low power needs - but once you get over 500 watts we do believe this is the way to better or best sound. Balanced Power ROCKS :)

Dear Friends...
I have finished the first of two medical procedures that hopefully will improve the quality of my life... One more procedure tomorrow.

Just updating briefly…
I’m back at work today – at last. That’s the good part…
The bad is I managed to crack a rib on Saturday due to a
failed air mattress – very painful… hurts to breathe
Our Logistics company failed us and now we are scrambling to
find a home for the last 11 pallets that should have left yesterday. I’m loathe
to name this company as they have done a real good job to date for us
personally as well as Emerald Physics
In any event – that’s not stopping shipments which are
moving again. We will be out of the building tomorrow – but we have already
secured a nice 250 square foot space for us to build and ship until our new “warehouse/office”
is ready to move in to.
I’m feeling just ok – the medical procedures both went well –
but I will need time to heal.
Deep Core is coming shortly – Peter Madnick had to go to
Toronto for ELAC/Alchemy and he will be home late Wed night. I plan to be in LA
Friday through Sunday to launch…

Just wanted to log on very briefly to say that my phones are working again... (Thank GOD)...
I had not realized that when Lynn upgraded to the Samsung S8 and me my 8+ that our Google Voice Integration had stopped.
I never use the Sprint Voice Mails as they are poopy (better word to use but I'll avoid it)... I use Google Voice as they are really great. I get call announcements and text of the call - they are awesome.
When someone told us about not answering our phone messages I began to dig in - found out there were 50!!! I had never even set voice mail up on the new phones.
Just of course very apologetic to the many of you that left me messages. I had no idea at all...
This move has been amazingly painful for reasons I will explain in my longer mail due to follow later. We are shipping today (YAY!!!!!) at last.

I wanted to drop a brief note to update – but then this note
sort of morphed into more.
After speaking with customers over the last few days I was
urged to share with this thread more details as to exactly what has been going
on.
Taking another risk here – but I can share with all of you
that my health had really gone south over this three-month period. Getting
Emerald Physics moved and Core Power – in addition to my own home was just too
much for me.
I suffered two Hemiplegic Migraines that really knocked me
out. This is addition to what I’ve already been dealing with – and then
bleeding horribly from an unmentionable place and life has been rotten. I’ve
spent more time in my local Urgent Care and my two Doctors offices that has really
been the pivot-point as what has kept me away from all of you – and this place.
The phone voice mail is now working perfectly (no more
Google Voice) – good news there… Call me – glad to hear voices… 720.317.9141
We STILL have not moved into our final spot. Living out of
three cars and an Extended Stay America hotel room for these last three weeks
or so – not bad… but not “normal” either…
We ARE shipping daily again and we will continue to plow
through this back-log – those affected will be receiving a very nice note from
me with my own way of saying I’m so sorry.
Lynn is building out in our temporarily rented build space
and we are gaining momentum again. Units are leaving daily – this is a GREAT
feeling for us. I want to let you folks know we were slowed when our first
choice for a build out spot could not handle the rigors of our burn in rack… We
had to move out – and find another place – we are in that one now.
We can never really thank all of you enough for your
kindness and patience. I’m trying hard to keep this note short and to the point
as this thread belongs to all of you – not me. I know that it’s hard to fathom
how much has happened to me (and to us) … but we are here today standing strong
and doing well.
Stay close to me if you have any questions…
I can finally travel to LA next week to launch out DEEP CORE
– yay!

Good Afternoon All –
Lots of goings on at Core Power Tech and with my family. I
think it’s a good idea just to update (thank you Kemper) and just give all of
you a view of our world as it exists today.
Core Power started as an attempt to do all we could to wring
out my experiences in AUDIO – and what I had learned about Power from many of
the masters. It’s been a wonderful two (next month) but much went into Core
Power before we shipping unit 1.
I learned from my experiences at Genesis, Audio Alchemy –
Perpetual Tech and others what goes into making a product that stands the test
of time. I’ve had a few of those – and I’ve also had colossal blunders with products
that almost cost me everything. We have a top loading transport that made
everyone’s Class A list, but this product was impossible to build and
replicate. It was a great idea gone bad – I’ve has my share of that.
Instead, we waited 14 months to ship Unit One of the first
EQUI-CORES. That study paid off and in total we are well in excess of 770 units
now with one shipping failure, three units failures and two returns in all this
time.
In the case of the Deep Core I work with three guys I call
My Rabbis and Priests. They are the heart and soul of the Alpha Team. They have
all been using DEEP CORE for more than 11 months now. I went Pre-Beta with
these guys to very Standing Ovations. One went as far as to say that this will
change Audio. I think he’s right.
I owe 9 of you final Beta Units (one of you is in fact
getting two units for his system needs) and these people will all get theirs
first. We had some hiccups along the way – but we are processing 65 units now.
Peter had asked me to listen one last time – I’m glad I did this.
The original design had 3 MOV-like (Metal Oxide Varistors)
in a Cascaded Array. MOVs are truly bad for the music but Doug’s new way of
using them seemed to work just fine ---- unit I got curious and decided to
jumper-in this array (thereby taking them out) and listen again…………… HOLY CRAP…
huge and very positive change. We listen – we listen some more ---- and then we
don’t begin anything until until WE LISTEN AGAIN.
Glad I did – DEEP CORE is going to change the Audio World
along with our new newer product called Ground ZERO. Shocking stuff actually. I’m
used to the market pressure stuff and to the posts where I’m called out for
this and that. I tend to talk about the products and get myself in trouble –
but that’s just me. I’m sorry… (maybe I’m not sorry)… 😊
I’ve also been held up due the house situation. By the time
we move in November 1st Lynn and I will have not lived in our own
house for 105 days (process on THAT) … We had one house ready to go that we
waited a complete build on but the Lender did not practice fair tactics and
after waiting near to 80 extra days we finally told them to stick it.
Instead we decided to build our final home and we rented The
Perfect House for the next 15 months – still in Broomfield, CO. This house has
near to 7000 square feet as nearly half of the house will be used for 4 Sound
Rooms to showcase products that I believe are EXTRAORDINARY. Many of you buy
from Underwood Wally but most of you don’t know that he bought that business
from ME as The Graham Company (Graham being my prized Chocolate Lab Boy) … he
later changed it to Underwood Hifi.
This house will be a home where anyone can come by and
listen all day long. I will have CPT Products along with speakers from a “few companies”
… most of you know I have designed and built ALL the Emerald Physics products
for the last 6 years. This has come to an end due to many factors but 90 +
percent due to my failing health (another big issue I’ve had to face up to) …
I’m getting better, but Parkinson’s is no walk in the park
and these hemiplegic migraines stopped me cold in September. Look it up if you
care to… it scared me mindless. I was so scared that I considered throwing in
the towel. BUT – when the going gets bad… we just have to muster up the mojo to
move on and get with it.
My granddaughter is going to help the business and two of my
Grandsons. Lynn is very happy about this. Peter Madnick (Constellation Audio,
Audio Alchemy and ELAC) will produce DEEP CORE and Ground Zero. We have what it
takes and by Jan 1, 2018 we will be shipping products from stock.
The 26 of you that waited abnormal time to receive your CPT

stun you into a smile. We have 6 DEEP CORES Paid For and these will go first of

My apologies for the unevenness of the last 3 months – we expected

than 70 pallets sent to Texas, California, and Tennessee. Not much more to add
to that fact. This slowed us to a crawl… but now it’s time for Core Power and

or so of November – THIS YEAR lol.

Well – the move is on-going now with storage units being emptied
and most of our household goods in place already. The new house is WONDERFUL,
and we feel truly blessed to be here. The 3 Sound Rooms are taking shape
already as well as the Personal Listening Area. In the PLA we will be able to
instruct those interested in Streaming Music and along with other Protocols you
will find fun and entertaining. There is plans for a You Tube Channel for those
interested, but not here in Colorado.
We owe many of you Pucks and Power Cords. We have a good
list going and this weekend we will be making a large run to the Post Office.

Prepare to be blown away...
I had my own interesting experience waiting for a product -
I had ordered the Nectar Matress (reasonably expensive purchase) and I’ve waited about a month now for it. The company appears to be very good and I certainly “understand” the wait.
Deep Core has taken way longer than I (or anyone involved) expected... but with a great team behind the Engineering and the Manufacturing I’m following their lead and getting it right -
In the coming weeks I believe we will ship many of these and the people will take over from their with their own experiences with this product. I’m as excited as anyone about this...
I am so sorry about the wait - but the product is “right” (even down to the proper knob/shaft fit) and this company is very proud of the end result.

To All Underwood Hifi Customers – My Apologies
Dear Friends-
I felt a few words were in order here. The most important
words I can offer are these – I’M VERY SORRY FOR THE DELAYS IN YOUR SHIPMENTS.
I can easily stop there – but I really wanted to get some further thoughts
across.
Walter Liederman has been a close and dear friend for almost
4 decades. As many of you know – I have designed Walter’s Emerald Physics
Loudspeakers for the last 6 plus years to serious accolades. This was done out
of love and sincere respect for Walter. It was NOT DONE for money. Walter is a
person that’s more like a Brother than a Partner in a Loudspeaker Company.
With “family” there are also issues. The line between Love
and Hate is sometimes perilously thin. In my case with Walter this came into
play during the last year of our 6 year run. My wife Lynn built every Emerald
product by herself and saw to it these were “loved on” endlessly.
Of course, emotions came into play and sadly others suffered
as a result of these emotions. For Walter it was cut and dry (ship my orders)
and for Lynn and myself… other priorities sat at the top. As simple as that. We
are “in-process” working thjose issues out.
Please accept my apologies – and please know that we
sincerely appreciate your purchase and your support of our brand.

A few Notes from Core Power Tech
Happy Holidays…
I wanted to quickly post some thoughts from Broomfield, CO.
Today has been a beautiful day here with orders shipping and my house humming
with the sights and sounds of The Holidays. I had calls and messages from
customers all over the world. Believe me – it made this day livable for me after
a horrible Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
So, this was really my first day back. I “lost” these last
several days to a dear friend who tried to take his life after being found out
to suffer from a very serious addiction (gambling) that almost cost him his
life and cost several families an enormous amount of money (my family included).
That’s only money… but what I learned in these last few days is the meaning of
life goes far beyond what we can imagine in our brightest moment of our worst.
Day to day gives life meaning.
Many of you are reading this and saying to themselves “who
cares” – ship my Deep Cores and forget this other babble. When you are a small
company, EVERY change in a day modifies your plan. Lynn and I were left with
our plans changing by the moment. Kenny C almost killed himself. My faith was
tested as was my own “recovery” which was began near to 35 years ago. Kenny
reminded me of what really matters – LIFE!
As to Deep Core Doug is back home and he has released these
units for shipment. Do I feel good about this – of course I do….. but I feel
much better after seeing Kenny today and finding him immersed in his faith
surrounded by his family. That’s my Christmas right there.
I’m very sorry that this taken so long and yet another “excuse”.
My wife and I hurt when we read these threads – but we surely DO understand
your frustration.
We have finally hired some help so that we can get to orders
quicker and make life a little easier for my wife and for me. We suffer greatly
when we let you down in any way. We are faith-filled people here – and we are
also faithful suppliers of our wonderful products. This means everything to us.
I was going to post some get quotes about LIFE. I decided
again it and I was just say TREASURE IT EVERY DAY – life can be cut short in
just a millisecond.

@pcrhkr - your question is important - and I want to answer it here and on the other thread as well...
In my humble opinion the Tripp Lite product is a good one for "protection" if you live in an area that is prone to lightning strikes etc. I would maybe even own one...
This is not a product that is going to improve your AC Mains - we make claim over Common Mode Noise etc and our EQUI=CORE products do a wonderful job of LOWERING NOISE. In fact - they are quite good at this...
Lower Noise = Much Better OVERALL Sound. Quieter and "Blacker" backgrounds can be had which lends to a really nice sonic effect.
I also might like the 2400 for EMI/RFI Protection. This is really important.
Is the 2400 a real Line Conditioner... I'm not sure I would give it that moniker - I might call it a nice Line Monitor.
Is the suppression aspects of this product is done in the way I've seen it done before - then I might conclude that we might lose Bass Drive and Pace as well as we might get a smearing effect.
(warning - I do not know this as factual with respect to the 2400)...

You can always try an 1800 with our 60 day return gurantee. Nothing like trying this in your own system to know for a fact what helps and what hurts...

@sadono - what can I say except thanks... sincerely appreciated you help here. I do have a review from one of my Rabbis and Priests of DC but as he will not go on forums at all I hesitate to post it. He is not the kindest personality - so some of his thoughts can (and do) sting me a bit... but this is all part of life for me. The biggest ouch was his comment about not doing Deep Core FIRST - he sorta made it hurt.
As more Deep Cores are being prepped now for shipment. Please note that we do NOT include Super Stroke with this product. You can add SS for $79 dollars (we think this is a bargain)...
As well - you will see three of our Isolation Pucks. Enjoy them

Sadly - I became a victim of Identity Theft by a dear friend of mine that went off the rails. My Sprint phone under our shared account has become a victim too...

As mentioned in earlier posts - we are in-process on a new hire for the Sales and Marketing side of the business -
I had promised accounting changes and as of today we will no longer charge cards until the shipment has been made and the Tracking Information has been provided. We will then charge the card.
