Some initial information about Deep Core
Please keep in mind that besides being a State of The Art Power "Front End"... the real surprise is what the adjustment pot provides - we will have more about this soon when I can convince Doug that it's OK to open the Kimono a bit more...
Deep Core
The Deep core is a multi-function power conditioner that re-defines
the category. The deep core is designed to not only provide clean, spur free
power but it also allows the user to optimize the power delivery interface via
a user adjustment. The optimization of the power delivery interface can
significantly affect sound quality as the prime power source is a major contributor
to attributes such as the noise floor and dynamic range of the system. The deep
core can be used with almost any system configuration providing optimized power
for both source components and power amplifiers. The deep core has the
following major attributes;

An Input
circuit that features a unique DC snubber which stops any DC , constant or
transient, imposed upon the power lines from passing through the deep core and
into the system. DC can saturate the transformers of source components and
cause voltage fluctuations.
·
After the
DC snubber the deep core has a complex common mode filter designed to suppress
any RF signals that may be riding on the power lines. This RF energy can raise
the noise floor and affect the total dynamic range of the system. The EMI
filter is implemented with high quality magnetics that will not saturate
under high current conditions

After the
common mode filter a second EMI/RFI filter is implemented that further cleanses
the power of unwanted out of band products. This additional filter includes
integrated surge suppression to insure that no high voltage transients, such as
the voltage from a lightning strike, will pass through the system
·
The last
stage of the deep core contains the adjustable power delivery interface. This
interface allows the user to optimize the power delivery to his or her system.
This unique capability allows the power core performance to be optimized for
each individual user case
The deep core should
be connected directly to the desired components as it is the “final” word in
power conditioning. Its unique ability to not only fully cleanse AC power
sources of both DC and RF noise but to also optimize the power delivery is
unique among competing products. Further - I can say that we like Deep Core IN FRONT OF the Equi=Core products. This is contrary to how I was using it in the beginning... this is MUCH BETTER IMHO... Deep Core will be priced at $995 - talk to us about early adopter pricing. Thank You, Mark |

You are to receive TWO of the Deep Core Alpha Samples which I promised. I mentioned that the first boards were not thick enough to carry max current - so we re-made all of them. We want to put our Best Foot Forward for this very important product.
I will also say again here - my wife and I have been very busy so we send 10 to 12 packages daily with ISO-PUCKS and the other goodies. We have been doing them reversed alpha - so z was first. Everyone will get these for sure. Everyone...

I want to candidly state that the Corelli is an amazing and even wonderful product. I do feel that DEEP CORE will fulfill the dreams I have had about Power and Power Conditioning. IMHO one should have Balanced Power as a foundational item in their system - from there adding DEEP CORE will amaze even the most Flat Earthed Traveller in audio re Power. I am simply Gobsmacked by the results. I feel all of you will love it also.
Can DEEP CORE be used with other brands... YES, of course it can and it works. Have done so here with fine products from other companies.

Pucks are going at a rate of about 10 packages per days. We try to do more at night - but we poop out around 8:30pm these days.
DEEP CORE to reiterate what I have said before has NOT shipped. Doug has approved the final units now and we brought in thicker PCB's (heavier trace as well) to carry the necessary current. They work great and they will ship this coming week. Rick just machined panels for us...
We are extremely busy but I always retunrs calls, text messages and contact via e-mail --- that said, we did just learn that our contact web form is not working properly yet again. Our web master is fixing it.
There are no problems here other than being extremely busy. Shipments are on time and in good order. We haven't missed a one...

I'm really not sure how or why you have said what you have - but I've worked awfully hard to right my life. Believe me - none of this has been easy.
No one died that invented DEEP CORE - we lost an Engineer that did a board layout (Scott Shelstad) and one that worked on our new Preamp / DAC HPA. Our current board layout designer has done a masterful job with the final layout.
Life is what you make of it - and I've done my very best to put some difficult situations behind me and move on with a healthy and beautiful life.
We deliver our products in a way that we can be proud. I AM fighting some very rough health issues (including early onset Parkinson's) and everyone in my life (personally) knows this.
My friends and family have been great - supporting me through everything.
To me - this kind of stuff because Pucks are shipping about 10 packages per day (and yours have not arrived as yet) and DEEP CORE prototypes have not yet gone out... my word.

Actually, I had a text message from @klh007 alerting me to this thread...
I feel very badly for you - these things that have been said are hurtful of course - but we won't ship things that are not right. I lived through that as the Founder of Audio Alchemy and I swore I would never do that again...
My life is (still) very good and I'm extremely grateful to you and others that looked at our product early-on. I thank you for that...
I will let my own performance speak - I cannot escape the past - but I CAN do everything in my life to make these years beautiful in every way.
Grateful for sure... and of course your Pucks will arrive as will your request for two DEEP CORES. I had a bad two year period for sure - but I have spent 48 years enjoying every day in this industry.

Good Afternoon...
Lynn and I have decided that we really do need to add some help here. We hope to be faster and even more responsive to needs, concerns and questions. Adding overhead means we need "some" price adjustments".
With that - we need to announce that some of our products will have a price increase coming June 1st 2017.
The 50/150 and 300 will stay as priced - our EQUI-CORE 1200 will go up $100 dollars to $1499 - and the 1800 will go up from $1799 to $1999.
DEEP CORE will price at $995 with special discounts to those interested over the first 90-day period after introduction.
Hope this advance notice helps those that might be interested in our 1200 or 1800 by purchasing now.

I'm not sure if I will have DEEP CORE at Axpona as we don't want to offer something publicly until the finished Production Units are in the warehouse and ready to ship... this makes life simpler :)

Good Morning All,
I’m slowed fore sure - but not completely sidelined.
I am allowed two hours per day on the phone or Internet... I agreed to this as a way of managing Blood Pressure etc.
I am allowed to go into work today provided I go slow and easy and only for a few hours at a time.
Deep Cores are in the house (6 Alpha units) and we have more coming. These will leave by the end of the week. I want to test each one individually as these are so new.
We have many 220 volt units that are set to leave as well - but Lynn has really been back up due to my situation... :(
As well... we have now two grandchildren that are here from out of state. Not the very best timing... but we are always glad to see them. :)
I am not at Axpona - but most of you already know this...
New orders are going out on-time - customs take a moment or two more... Either I build those or our tech when he is in.

For those of you that have waited patiently and those wanting to order... we have just been told that 36 more 1800 Transformers for 220v will be here shortly.
We apologize for the delay - these transformers do have our new shielding for 220v in place and we feel that after reviewing the several samples we flew in a few weeks ago that these perform really well. Super low-noise and great overall performance.

I'm really excited to get more Deep Core's out there. Our pcb shop is fabricating now - and our metal guys are rocking. We needed to make some very minor mechanical changes for the Pot and the Quick-Acting Circuit Breaker. All done and baked in...

The DEEP CORE is out in the field now with a few guys and more just shipped.
The DEEP CORE will truly astound people at this product addresses so many issues with Transformer Synchronicity - Every Transformer works differently in every system and power grid - we get the Earth (Ground) and Neutral synchronous and relationship into a "better place"... :)
More about this soon - there is a lot to talk about here... but I've been trying to keep quiet until some of the Beta Guys check in.

Hi All,
I must report that another Deep Core failed today.
I'm only guessing - but it may be due to shipping damage as well - I will investigate when it comes back.
Had a very nice call with ozzy and this was his unit. ozzy did point out several things I need to do to improve everything - two of which we knew about already and have been handled for further Beta and Final Production.
Big thanks to ozzy for his comments. Our packing was inadequate -
Also we have improved our output wiring which is via a connector that allows for heavy gauge wire.
Apologies here for sure - we will learn and get better... this is what Alpha is for.

Firstly - DEEP CORE is designed to work with other Power Conditioners. Lots of testing there already with amazing results...
Deep Core comes with TWO standard (ready very generic) Power Cords. One can add the Super Stroke for $99 each :) (Highly Recommended)
EQUI=CORE 1200 comes with a Standard Cord free of charge - but Super Stroke is a great add at $99 dollars...
There is no current product that combines DC and E=C
You can position any of these on their side(s) or on top...

Having a bit of a quiet day here as today is my birthday and I am spending it with family here locally.
DEEP CORE has left for Doug for final check out before leaving for several of you Alpha and now Beta Testers. Thanks for your patience. Doug's day job is very important (as well as demanding) and there are times where I need to be patient and understanding with his schedule issues. Thanks all for your patience.
When we started CPT we had very modest goals. We are more than 300% over what we predicted - we have all of you to thank for this. I reviewed a ton of information this morning about that fact. I am humbled and very grateful.
We have delivered all current back orders of 1200's and 1800's in 120v and the 220v units should finally be shipped shortly and we can clean that backlog out. There are some that will never be pleased and we appreciate your angst and eagerness.

We have units at Doug's now for testers - but we also know from my last call with Doug that he was quite pleased and he gave me the OK to release the Production Order which I did two days ago when I returned home.
I'm trying to stay caught up - but today Walter (Emerald Physics) is having surgery and I'm watching his phones as well as he has no one to do this. It's been fun... :)
