The Ortofon with removable headshell is a great choice if you are changing cartridges frequently.

RAUL - the dynamic VTF mechanisms (coiled leaf springs) in the FR64/66 cannot ring, as they are fully packed in grease, plus they are under their own tension.

 

EVERYONE - The FR-14 is a wonderful tonearm.

Best tonearm for a $1500 budget is the Technics EPA-100
