Super old question here but it took me that long to hear the Eventus Phobos.
Fantastic speakers. They do need good electronics to shine. Moderate tube power amps 30w+ will do the job on power. Im using 845s.
Super recommended speakers.
Never heard the Carmel so cant say, maybe I will in 10 more years:)
