New component rack ordered and need longer ethernet cable.  Been out of the market so what cables should I consider?  Currently using AQ Vodka.

I just purchased a phasure ethernet cable.
Between which equipment do you use it and have you played with various configurations?

Just use the same cables that are used in the server farms of Spotify, Amazon, Itrax and the like to transport their digitized audio around their server farms and by all of the NSPs, NAPs, ISPs to then send it to your modem. These are mostly generic cables made in-house, Can you imagine how much music would cost if they all had to pay more than a few dollars for each of their housands of millions of ethernet cables.?

Blue Jeans Cable assembles Cat 5e, 6 and 6a using Belden cable to the length you need but more importantly, each cable is individually tested using a Fluke meter to ensure it meets spec and you receive the report. MeiCord Opal UTP Cat 6 as also garnered great reviews. Or Ghent Audio, who assembles Cat 6a using Belden stock with Metz shielded plugs, perhaps worth a look.
I am a proven proponent of cable and power upgrades across-the-board as they certainly make a difference. The better the quality of the system the more it’s impacted, of course. I ran a 20 foot section of supra 8 directly from the router to my streamer/dac, unfortunately I did not have a large perception of improvement over the in wall ethernet cabeling, but the Supra will serve as a good quality cable from the router to the last couple feet where I plan to upgrade to a better patch cord. Probably something in the wireworld or audio quest line. To be determined.

I should add my experience may be biased based on my streamer dac being a Macintosh MB 50 which requires a $15 dongle to use to connect an ethernet cable instead of using Wi-Fi. That could be choking on the Internet signal itself but I’m moving out of the mb50 into a lumin s1, so may see different results.
