Esoteric D-01 DAC - Are these still relevant?

I’m curious to hear people’s’ thoughts around the Esoteric Monoblock D-01
DAC (not the D-1) vs the DAC in a newer unit such as the one in the Esoteric K-01X.

Does the D-01 hold up in 2020?

The DAC modules on the new XD series are brand new and evolutionary. If you don’t need a transport, get the N-01XD. It has an outstanding streamer built in
