Escrow Services for International Transaction

I am trying to purchase an item from a fellow in Taiwan who has no agon feedback. Can anyone recommend an escrow service to help take the risk off? From what I can see, companies like "Tradenable" and "iescrow" appear to be out of business. Anyway paypal can help?
