Considering a Mingda MC-300 Preamp. Thoughts?

I listened to a Ming Da MC300 pre-amp recently and have to say I was most impressed by its performance.

In fact it sounded better ( from memory) than just about all other preamps I have had through my system including Modright and Cary (early Models) and a Supratek Sauvignon.

The price from Grant Fidelity looks very tempting and I was wondering whether anyone else has auditioned this preamp.
