Classe Dr5 Pre or Audio Research Ls2

I have the Ls2 very bright on top.Do you think the Dr5 will tone it down.I have maggies 3a.Any suggestion Thanks Jim

The tradeoff however is you will loose some of the tube realism that the ARC provides. You may want to experiment with some different tubes in your ARC preamp; I would recommend some new old-stock Telefunkens.

The ARC is more musical.I have tried different tubes with no satisfaction.Maybe because of the hybrid.Do you know of a different ARC with all tubes.As you could see I can not go for new.Thanks for your input and help.Jim
