I believe it is difficult to successfully bi-amp speakers with two different amp brands. I have heard others that have gone through many, many amps before getting it right. Timing can be off, even very incrementally and this will/can result in poor performance. I think you would be better of using two Krells or two Brystons, even of different power ratings (same series, just different power levels) with more success than using two different makes.
