Best way to measure SPLs with computer interface for

Should I buy a microphone and software for my PC or get a meter that connects to the PC?I wish to spend less than $100.00.

Room EQ Wizard uses this file to correct microphone output. Microphone is calibrated for direct (straight) and omnidirectional (pointing up) response. Microphone is $75 and software is free.
