Any thoughts on the Aragon 28k mk.2 preamp?

I'm looking at this unit to go with an Aragon 8008 mk.2 amp. Thoughts on the preamp and how it compares to others? Thanks.

The 24K is not remote capable. The 28K is a newer design, and remote-controllable if I remember correctly. It's a fine unit, I just like the 24K better, especially if you're still spinning vinyl. (I'm using a Stage 1)
