I retipped mine some years ago by Van den Hul. They did an excellent job, and the sound of the modified/retipped Troika was very close to that of another, unmodified Troika. Mine had slightly better bass, but the tone and character of the cartridge were preserved, and the difference was small. The cartridge comes back with a little VdH sticker on.
