Wow if this is right, stay away from the Audio-GD Singularity 19 DAC.
Did these same guys do reviews on the Holo, Denafrips or Sokeris?
Cheers George

Another discrete R2R Ladder Multibit Dac, this ones from Audio GD, their coming on strong.
Yeah, that same guy reviewed the Holo in the context of many other DACs. I think he’s kept the Holo as a second DAC. Kind of a long series of posts, but quite exhaustive: http://www.superbestaudiofriends.org/index.php?threads/life-after-yggdrasil-watering-the-ash.4036/ Some other impressions here - a long string of them if you want to read through the whole thing: http://superbestaudiofriends.org/index.php?threads/holo-audio-spring-dac-level-3-kitsune-tuned-editi... And one other guy had a entire writeup on NOS type DACs. Can’t seem to find the post, but I know it’s there. One of the Soekris DACs is covered in another post too somewhere. |
I think The poor review of Singularity 19 is because it was not burned in at all. It needs about 600-1000 hrs of burning in, I heard from audio-gd users! I am not u sure If reviewer got a second burned in unit or not but he reviewed it immediately without playing for days at least it seems unless I missed something in the review. Too bad, I really want some reviews to compare audio-god with schiit or metrum or holospring |
