How about Hegel H590 or the new Parasound JC 5?
Great also, but with the Hegal being integrated, there no choice of going direct to the poweramp with the source if it has it’s own volume control. Which to me is the the most transparent/dynamic way of getting the music to the poweramp.
And the JC5 I believe doesn’t have as much Class-A bias as the A21+ has and it’ll be the sweeter (airier) of the two, still very powerful 300-8ohm and 500-4ohm.
