Suck it up and go through the hassle of redoing it.
Don’t know what kind of simple fix you’re looking for. Redoing it seems the simplest solution. No matter what you have to move the amp.
Help - Amp In Shelf
HI, I need the communities suggestions.
I recently purchased my 2nd Agostino S-350 amp in placing it in my Adona Zero GXT Black Widow rack I noticed I did not leave enough spacing in building the rack for the 2nd amp. I ended up guessing the distance needed as I was lowering the 4 shelf supports down low enough to allow the amp to fit, however, once I was done, I noticed in order for proper spacing with the 1st amp I lowered the shelf supports 2" to low. I installed the amp but it is 2" lower in shelf spacing than the 1st amp,
Does anyone have any ideas how to raise an amp in a rack, the amp I believe weighs 135 lbs the shelf it self is 25 lbs so around 160 lbs. I am hoping to find a way to raise the 2nd amp 2" while in the rack and readjust the shelf supports under the amp.
I know I can disconnect all the cables move the rack out from the wall take the amp out and adjust the shelf supports, and have to go through the hassle of reinstalling and connecting everything again, that way but that is such a hassle. Has anyone come across this problem before and found a simple fix??? Hopefully no one out there is a dumb as me haha.
I would be grateful, my OCD is off the charts seeing that 2" shelf gap between the 1st and 2nd amp in the rack not equally spaced. LOL
Thanks
Norm
If you have something underneath that can take the weight, get a couple sets of these and pump it up:
