Aesthetix Atlas/Calypso to Mimas?

Wondering whether moving to a Mimas is downgrade, upgrade or sideways move?

Currently using Usher 8571 and possibly moving to Philharminic Audio BMR towers.

  (Wife is complaining about the size of the 8571's  sheesh!)
