Best speakers for classic rock
I prefer to not listen to "classic rock" as it simply reminds me of songs I covered in club bands for years (although my later bands employed "veto powers" from members so nobody had to play something they hated) ...Steely Dan and Little Feat and ...
Really...My favorite power tube is reissue that's not widely popular
My Dennis Had "Inspire Fire Bottle HO" single ended amp (12wpc supposedly) will accommodate everything from KT150s, 120s, 88s, 77s to 6l6s and their ilk, and, other than 6L6s, I've tried all of the above. Swapping out the rectifier tube can help t...

I've paired my Freya with an ARC REF75 amp and it sounded astonishing, with none of the alleged soundstage issues described, so I can only surmise some people simply live on another planet. I brought it into an "audio salon" and the sales dudes we...

Jason Stoddard and Mike Moffat aren't about to sell a crappy product that effects the great reputation they've developed over the years. The Freya is a huge hit simply because it's well engineered and sounds great, costs FAR less than most other p...
This Schitt is totally refreshing in the world of high end audio!
Note that the new table will supposedly come with feet called Schiit Floaters.

The blue glow actually got a little bluer after a few days, so there's that, and after however many weeks I've had 'em I've become even fonder (is that a word?) of these things. A classy tube.

A Freya is simply not inherently more vibration prone than any other preamp so that ain't it, sorry. You can hit this thing with a stick and it's still quiet...Also, the stock 6H8C tubes provided for my Freya were also dead silent, just less inter...

Nonsense. I also have a large collection of 6SN7GTBs and they're dead quiet in my Freya, and the thing is as quiet as any SS preamp I've owned over the decades...or quieter. I guess I got lucky! I have a Loki EQ in the path and it's usually off, b...

Live hamsters are effective but it's hard to get them to stay put.

What about "Neo" Classic Rock? And where the hell did "roll" go?
HELP!!! I need a “GOOD-CHEAP” preamp solution???
If you can’t live with the "noise" from the Freya volume control (only present when adjusting the volume), you likely hadn’t read anything about the thing. Unusual, but I suppose that’s possible.
Amp "timing" ?
I have a Linn now, but my point was that those specific tables had absolutely the same speed, and the music presented was in identical pitch (which I'm extremely sensitive to, as are most people if they know it or not). Maybe the dealer should hav...
Amp "timing" ?
I was trapped into a "presentation" (in the late 80s maybe) at a stereo shop of why a Linn LP12 table, when compared to a Denon direct drive table, was more  rhythmically accurate...it wasn't.
Amp "timing" ?
A good musician will play on, behind, or ahead of the beat, resulting in the "feel" of a musical presentation...that’s timing, and if my hifi rig does any of those things on its own I’ll assume I’ve lost my mind.
What define "musicality" ? And what constitute "musicality" in audio ?
When I encounter a great piece of architecture, I just start dancing...it's actually pretty easy.
