Need recommendations for 20' speaker cable
I have a very well broken in pair of Groneberg cables.  They are 22 feet long, cost me $1500.00 for each cable.   I’ll give them away for $150.00 for the pair plus shipping.  They have the Groneberg spades at both ends and were soldered with Grone...

Rogue Monoblocks
I heard the Rogue 150 mono blocks with the Rogue RP5 preamp driving some huge and ugly looking Avalon speakers (speakers look like Darth Vader).  Excellent sound with extended highs and very tight bass with tubes no less. I heard this at Overture ...
CHALLENGE: Best speakers for playing 1812 Overture by Eric Kunzel with real CANON at 92+dB
I have that CD and played it a couple of times.  I have played it at 98 DB volume through my Triton Refs and my 300wpc Mac amp.  Clean and clear bass with no distortion.  However, I did lose 4 or 5 of my wife’s knickknacks that vibrated off the li...
Do you care about car audio?
Back in the early 90’s, I had a very high end system in my car, all installed by me. I had 4 Soundstream amps which was one of the best brands at the time, all ADS separate speakers, 4 10 inch subs, an Audio Control 20 band EQ, top of the line Ken...
Is $2,844 too much to pay for a fuse?
Why would anyone put boutique fuses in an inexpensive Yamaha receiver?  Send the money to me instead. I will make better use of it.
32 bit Sampling rate support on Mcintosh DA2
As I said, I don't use my computer.  I run my McIntosh FM tuner through it.
Following up on sending my Simaudio Titan in for a tune up:)
My wife and I have gone on a couple of long drives for my audio passion. We went to Adirondack Audio in the Adirondack mountains in upstate NY. We also went to Audio Classics in Vestal NY. Both trips were around 300 miles each way. I have also bee...
Has Anybody Else Heard These?
Sounds reasonable. Listen, listen and then listen some more.
32 bit Sampling rate support on Mcintosh DA2
I have the Mac DA2 module but I do not use a computer through it. Strictly SPDIF.
Has Anybody Else Heard These?
I have not heard those particular speakers but every totem I heard had a too hot treble.  Definitely not for me.
SACD Transport Recommendations
If you get a SACD transport (Esoteric and McIntosh both make them), then be sure your SACD player will connect to it and properly play the SACD layer of the disk. Both Esoteric and Mac have their own proprietary connections for listening to the SA...
VU Meter Faulty
If you bought the amps from a store, I would have them take care of it for you.
Why Do So Many Audiophiles Reject Blind Testing Of Audio Components?
Same old argument.  First heard it 50+ years ago.   No one will ever agree one way or the other.  Time to put this to rest or death, once and for all.
