Will you be going to see YES or YES this summer?
I saw AWR here in Phoenix some months ago , and he and the band were fantastic. Nobody wet home disappointed that night. After the second song, the audience simply wouldn't stop a standing ovation...And Jon Anderson seemed genuinely surprised and ...
Amps from the 1980's -- What gear holds up sonically? Reliably?
A +1 for Electron Kinetics, and let's not forget McIntosh.

bo1772,I'll say it once, and then never again (unlike you). You have told us all what we don't know well over 1000 times. To save us all from expensive future mistakes, and all of the "useless" trial and error, why don't you once and for all write ...
Tekton Electron has been released
Charles,If they wouldn't overload my room, I would buy them, but they would, and I would also be too close. They are amazing speakers. I'm not interested in the Partial Eclipse. As I have said, it's torture not being able to hear them, because I am...

Charles,You know that your speakers are one of my all time favorites, and apparently others feel the same as I haven't seen a pair for sale for quite a while, but these are really interesting, aren't they?

Thanks Kenny. That's very informative.

kdude66,That's good info. Again, in the interest of context, can you tell us what speakers you have owned and used in the past?

gb9746,Thanks, that information gave all of us some valuable perspective. Your previous speakers were good ones, and in particular, I have respect for the ProAc 3.8. It is a great speaker. I would think that the Electrons would sound very much lik...

gb9746,Thanks for the comments. Could you tell us what speakers you have owned in the past so that I can get a context? Also, what kind of amp are you using? The hardest thing is reading an owners comments, but not knowing what constitutes "great" ...

I'm with you on this one Wolf. So much suffering would be alleviated if the poorest nations as well as the richest ones, like the U.S. would use birth control and stop casual procreation."What is the ONLY thing you can do that makes you feel good ...

jj77,And so what? They're statement products for the wealthy few. As usual, if you are interested in their house sound, you will eventually benefit from trickle-down of the advanced design technology. No one is forcing you to buy, and there are ma...
Tekton Impact
Yes Lancelock, and with the new M3Triode Master 16 ohm variety, I am just extremely curious. I have no way of hearing them though, although both have money back guarantees, it would be a hassle as well as expensive to return them.
Tekton Impact
That certainly is a tantalizing endorsement. I am waiting to hear more about the Electrons, although given what you have said powerglide, I don't know if that's necessary. In my mind right now, I am wondering about a comparison between the Tektons...
Has anyone considered rebuying a speaker you once owned??
onhwy61,That's interesting. I preferred the SP100 overall, but I don't know exactly why. Between the two, I would say bass control was the same. The 9/1 has to be the most beautiful speaker they ever built though.
Ever Bought an Audio Product that was Stupid Good for the Money?
For me, Klipsch Epic CF-4 speakers. $1000.00 used.
