Anybody want a laugh? This whole thread is reminding me of the current political climate in the US. Half the population seems to have zero interest in expert opinions (engineers), facts, or science, and only want to hear what they already believe echo’d back at them.Ca...
Anybody want a laugh? @guyboisvert,Dude, you are wrapped way too tight, sounding like a fanatical crusader out to save audiophiles from themselves, using insults and ascribing to me motives that simply aren't there. Take you meds and calm down. Are you just another ASR ...
Anybody want a laugh? @guyboisvert,Who took the jelly out of your donut? What I linked to was simply food for thought, nothing more. I don't have a dog in this fight as I don't use any kind of networking in my audio gear. And that wasn't an article, if you cared to read...
Anybody want a laugh? I've read here, in these threads, posts about conflicts of interest and all sorts of accusations about reviewers and their reviews. 6moons has been, for some reason, singled out as not being on the up and up for reasons I can't fathom.Srajan has a...
Anybody want a laugh? Hey, if you have issues with 6moons, contact them directly. I'm not their spokesperson.
Anybody want a laugh? "Financial interests" link in the beginning of above 6moons article lists what people do in their lives, but does not really state that they have no conflict of interest in this particular matter. A little unusual approach, one could say.I don't k...
Anybody want a laugh? There are one or two members here who personally knew Peter Aczel and he had notoriously very bad hearing, to the point where he really couldn't hear readily discernible differences that everyone else could.Back in the day, before I knew that, I r...
Anybody want a laugh? Understanding how networks work is just that: a primer on how it’s designed to work and not how it will sound if noise is introduced at some juncture. Knowing how it works doesn’t preclude that something poorly designed won’t have an effect. I hav...
Footers under my speakers double the perceived value of my speakers! Whenever I tried different footers under my stand mount monitors I always adjusted my listening position to eliminate the effects of height differences since it was so easy to do. Sitting more upright or slumping down is kids stuff. The difference...
JBL Synthesis “Bookshelves” Hey Doug,If you do get the chance to check them out and decide to get something, you might want to check out these stands from deercreekaudio.com.https://deercreekaudio.com/p/custom-stands I’ve read where the quality of the JBL stands is questiona...
Anybody want a laugh? They seem to come in waves, oblivious to what happened to the ones that preceded them, thinking themselves the tip of the spear.Old news. All the best,Nonoise
Why perfect speakers dont exist the truth revealed Where's nurse Ratched when you need her?
JBL Synthesis “Bookshelves” I wouldn't worry about what AudioScienceReview says. They, themselves, have been trashed by other sites. Trust your own ears.I have the 4319 monitors and love them. Are they perfect? Heck no. No speaker is as they are all compromises. What they ar...
power cord with Niagara 1200 I kept my TWL PCs on my integrated and SACD player plugged into the Niagara 1200 and used an extra Cullen Cable 10GA PC I had lying around and it works fine. My system never sounded better. All the best,Nonoise
