Why do I need power management if I have a great power cord?
@ghdprentice "High end audio is a very complex endeavor… full of ambiguity and complexity." Well said. The problem is not "trying to prove a negative," as someone else said, the problem is to hear something that one does not yet know how to hear....
Are Harbeth the only warm and euphonic speakers in town ?
Possibly of interest or use:  https://forum.audiogon.com/discussions/review-fritz-heiler-s-carbon-7-se-mk-2-bookshelf-speakers I would go for the Fritz Carbon 7 before the Carreras of his, if warmth is the desired attribute.

@raysmtb1 Thanks. So there's you, your friends plus I guess others with your conclusions. Then there are thousands who testify to a difference. Shall we call it a draw and agree that it's important for people to test it out for themselves? You did...

Maybe we should throw dedicated outlets into the mix, just to allow the denialists a trifecta!

@nonoise Agreed. Are you ready for none of them to answer my two questions? They won't, I predict. (Bracing for powerful challenge in 3...2...1...)
American Made Audio Products
@dinov No worries at all. My question was: do all the internal parts need to be made in the U.S.A. to meet the standards in your OP?
Will DAC always sound better going straight into a Power Amplifier?

+1 @jjss49  @smodtactical When you say "I've looked far and wide" did you miss the long list that JJSS provided?
Why do I need power management if I have a great power cord?
People who say it's all snake oil raise two questions for me: 1. Do you think that these cords and conditioners have just been fooling everyone for decades? And they are too stupid to realize it and too deluded to know that they are not hearing a...
American Made Audio Products
@j-wall A thread about "made in America" on Agon attracted a lot of grumps? Almost as surprising as the headline, "Water: wet." Really, these threads go nowhere and merely provide an online canvas for whatever mental reflux is burbling around the ...
American Made Audio Products
@dinov Are you wanting to make sure that all the parts inside the gear is American made, too? Sometimes the quest for "American made" falters because gear has parts from all over the world.
Denver and Front Range furniture maker -- just did my audio rack!
Rack in place! Thanks to Nat at Clay Street Woodworks!
Speakers: Anything really new under the sun?
@holmz Good. We agree, then, that "there is new stuff happening." That makes sense to me, too.  It's what others here have said regarding advances in materials in the speaker industry.
Whats on your turntable tonight?
OMG, this is good. Really really good.
Speakers: Anything really new under the sun?
@holmz  Thanks for going into more detail, and I was being earnest when I said I wasn't really able to make a judgment. If you say that not much advance has been made in materials for the last twenty years, I can only just say "I don't really know...
