Triangle Magellan Duetto 40th Anniversary

I've read such great things about these speakers, and I'm wondering if any members have owned or do own them, or have had other opportunities to hear them, and what their opinions are.

Thanks

I run the model up, the Magellan Cello 40th Anniversary floor standers. I prefer their golden oak finish which is just as beautifully finished but has a narrower grain pattern and is lighter in tone. They're exceptional speakers, but are so revealing they demand upper echelon electronics to do them justice. Their lower Signature line is a bit more forgiving with moderate amplification. Suggest you try to arrange an audition with your intended electronics if possible.

They look excellent. Triangle is one of those brands that doesn't always get a lot of fanfare, but steadily puts out really great speakers time after time. I'd have a listen if at all possible.

Yes, I need to hear them. No dealers here in AZ,but I spoke with a dealer in California and he might have them in a few weeks. Road trip!

I also had them on my Radar for few months - several reviews were all extremely positive on construction and all materials used ( high end crossovers and binding posts etc) as well as sound characteristics similar to my tastes.

Love the Zebra finish and stylish design including stands. Unfortunately no dealers nearby and I ended up with used SF Nova III’s for same price I just couldn’t pass up. Hope they work out for you!
