Never had any wire cause a shift in level to one side.
Cable Quandary
Since listening to Nordost Valhalla 2 speaker cable, I am very pleased to notice that music coming from both speakers are balanced meaning sound played on both speakers are equal to each other. This has not been my experience with other cables. I have stayed with Nordost since 1999 and have used their various speaker cables. They started out balanced but while breaking in started to tilt to one side. My system has changed over time, but this issue stayed with me. Not this time with Valhalla’s. Cam someone explain why or am I crazy to think that. Speakers have changed over time but have stayed at one place all the time. I hope I am clear about the issue. Thanks.

@devinplombier if it were my ears then I would hear the same issue with Valhalla and I don’t but thanks for the advise. |
@couger4u are you saying that the issue is present with Valhalla 2, but NOT with Valhalla? Have you swapped Valhalla 2s from L to R...?

@devinplombier no I only have Valhalla 2 and never had Valhalla. I had Frey 2, Heimdall, Red Dawn, and Blue Haven and had the same issue with them but do not have it with Valhalla 2. I understand it is a strange issue and a mystery. |
