Best Integrated, period.

Has anyone compared, Gryphon Diablo, Gamut Di150, Vitus SS101, Krell FBI, APL UA-S1 Jeff Rowland Continuum 500? Please add what you found to be best integrated.

Joeyboynj, have you been out of the country or without the internet? Why all the postings?
Having heard the latest iteration of the LSA Statement amp, I would have to say it is the best integrated I have ever heard.
Kiwi_1282001, at the RMAF, I got my first listen to the Devialet. After a very few moments we left. It was nothing that I would want.
Audiozen, sorry! I thought it sounded too much like sales rhetoric. I made my first kits in 1958. I am further down the hill, but still going strong. Give the LSA1 Statements a listen if you can.
Audiozen, yes it was and mono. Also Heathkits were good. And you put everything on a shelf and plugged it into the ac.
Audiozen, I couldn't afford much back then. Later I want a Fisher 500, but they had been discontinued. I bought a Fisher 400T. My first transistor amp; what a joke! Strangely, I am back to all transistor equipment now.

I would love to be able to go back to those earlier times when I was convinced that I had good sound. I bet I didn't!
Styxtrekr, That is a good question. Go to exemplaraudio.com It is in the Exception series and will soon be shown. You can email or telephone him now.
I just took delivery on the new Exemplar/LSA Statement Plus integrated amp. Frankly, I have never heard anything better. Whatever John Tucker is doing to this integrated 150 watt amp, it is shockingly good.
There are benefits to integrated, namely not having to drive cables to the amplifier and perfect matching of the line stage with the amplifier circuit. I have seldom used integrated electronics, but recently have been asked to beta test a unit. I for the first real time heard all the benefits of an integrated fulfilled. I will say more when I can.
I used to think the Exemplar/LSA Statement amp was the best integrated but now the Exemplar Audio Exception Integrated is the best I have ever heard. And it weights only 23 pound for 50 watts per side versus the Statement's 85 pounds for 200 watts. I should say that the amp never showed any signs of distress playing loud on 93 db efficient speakers.

The detail, sound stage resolution, timbre of instruments, and just general realism of the sound is outstanding. Truly exceptional for only $4950.
I was wrong about the efficiency of the LSA1 Statements. It is not 93 db but 88 db.

Styxtrekr and others, presently only telephoning John Tucker or emailing can get you much information. A new and fully upgraded webpage will be released later this month.
Styxtrekr, I knew that the Exemplar Exception integrated amp would be at the RMAF but just learned that the exemplaraudio.com page is complete now.
Thankful, I too find this unit exceptional. Frankly, I found it hard to believe that it had an amp within. One feels little or no heat eminating from it. It works on my 86 db speakers as well as the 4 ohm load 93 db efficient speakers. I have yet to buy one at this point as I have one of John Tucker's LSA Statements. Its 200 watts per side is unneeded here. When I sell it, I will be getting the Exemplar Exception integrated amp.
Devilboy, I feel the same way about the Exemplar Exception integrated amp. Unfortunately or I believe fortunately, I have a Koda K 10 preamp and BMC M2 monoblocks and know they are clearly and not surprisingly better. But bang for the buck, the Exemplar is great.
